Mercury continues upwards trend
New Delhi, Feb 5 (UNI) Mercury continued its upward trend today indicating another week of above normal temperatures in the capital.
The minimum temperature rose to 12.3 degrees Celsius, from 11.2 degrees yesterday.
With the minimum of 12.3 degrees being three degrees above normal, it was a warm beginning of the week for Delhiites, after experiencing an unusually warm weather last week, which saw the mercury being four to six degrees above normal.
Though the weatherman has forecast a dip in mercury in the next few days, the temperatures in the capital are likely to remain by and large above normal this week too.
The weather office has forecast a minimum temperature of 11 degrees C tomorrow.
Meanwhile, visibility levels in Delhi continued to remain normal with just a slight mist this morning.
For the next 24 hours, the weather office has forecast a mainly clear sky.
