Madhoosdhanan appointed AIADMK Presidium Chairman

Chennai, Feb 5 (UNI) Former AIADMK Minister and All World MGR Fan's Association Secretary E Madhusoodhanan was today appointed as the Party's Presidum Chairman.

Mr Madhusoodhanan, who had served in J Jayalalithaa's Cabinet during 1991-96, replaces former Assembly Speaker K Kalimuthu, who died recently.

His name was proposed by Party Supremo J Jayalalithaa at the party's General council meeting, which later approved it.

A reoslution to this effect was also adopted both at the executive committee and at the General council meetings.
