Liquor worth Rs 26 lakh seized at Vadodara, 2 held
Vadodara, Feb 5 (UNI) In a major liquor haul, police today seized Indian-made-foreign-liquor (IMFL) worth Rs 26 lakh, when they intercepted a truck at Halol, about 50 km from here.
The liquor bottles packed in 600 cartons, were seized from a truck laden with foodgrains.
The duo, Sarvanand Kukaria and his brother Mahendra Kukaria, who were carrying the consignment to a place in Nadiad district from Daman, have been arrested and charged under the relevant provisions of the Prohibition Act, police added.
