JKLF never accepted Musharraf's formula : Amanullah

Jammu, Feb 5 (UNI) Reacting to Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf's four-point formula for as permanent solution of Kashmir issue, the Jammu&Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) said it did not approve of it.

JKLF Chairman Amanullah Khan, in a statement after meeting of central executive committee of the party, said his organisation did not approve of President Musharraf's four-point formula as permanent solution of issue as it ''made no reference either to Kashmiris' inherent, internationally recognised, pledged and unfettered right of self-determination nor to re-unification of the divided Jammu&Kashmir state.'' ''The JKLF would consider the formula as the first step towards permanent solution of the issue to be based on Kashmiris' unfettered and freely expressed will and on re-unification of the state provided both India and Pakistan declare and pledge publicly that they would accept that solution and contribute towards its realisation,'' he said.

Mr Khan further reiterated his resolve to fight tooth and nail any proposal to be evolved by some Indian and Pakistani officials.
