J'hand govt "apathetic" to Opposition MLAs: Munda

Ranchi, Feb 5 (UNI) Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Arjun Munda today requested Speaker Alamgir Alam to sort out the vexed problem regarding providing offical accommodation to the senior MLAs.

Mr Munda in a letter said the residence of former Ministers and Legislators were vacated by the present state government but no alternative arrangements had been made for them as yet.

Mr Munda said delay in allocation of quarters to the Legislators had caused problem, which at the same time reflected the "apathy" of the government towards the Opposition Legislators.

The matter was also raised during the last winter session of the Assembly.
