Deutsche Bank appoints new MD for India operations

New Delhi, Feb 5 (UNI) Deutsche Bank today appointed Mr Sanjay Sharma as Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets (ECM) in India.

In this new capacity, Mr Sharma will be responsible for developing the bank's domestic equity and equity-linked capital markets business.

He will commence work in his new position on March one.

Mr Sharma joins from Merrill Lynch where he was Head of Equity Capital Markets India. He brings over 14 years experience to the role and will report regionally and functionally to Mr Ashok Pandit, Managing Director, Equity Capital Markets, Asia, at Deutsche Bank and locally to Mr Gunit Chadha, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Deutsche Bank, India.
