BJP activists stop train in Kanpur
Kanpur, Feb 5 (UNI) Over 1,000 BJP activists today stopped the Kanpur-Farrukhabad passenger train here to protest the arrest of BJP MP Yogi Adityanath.
The mob headed by former BJP MLA Rakesh Sonkar took out a procession from Chandrika Devi crossing to Zareeb Chowki square.
Later, raising anti-government slogans, the activists stopped the passenger train between Anwarganj and Rawatpur railway stations.
At least six people were wounded after police fired in the air to control the mob.
So far, police has not made any arrest.
