Bahujan Prerna Kendra not Mayawati's property: Udit Raj

Lucknow, Feb 5 (UNI) Castigating the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Indian Justice Party (IJP) President Udit Raj said the Bahujan Prerna Kendra is not the private property of BSP chief Ms Mayawati.

''Mayawati is afraid of our party strategies. Therefore, she made 40 armed BSP MLAs sit at the Prerna Kendra,'' he said, addressing a press conference here.

''....Mayawati should dare not consider Prerna Kendra as her property. Whatever happened today was shameful. I have started a 'rath yatra' against BSP from today,'' he said alleging ''Mayawati had ''murdered'' Kanshiram and during the rath yatra, he would expose everything to people. Then, it would be upto people to decide BSP's faith in the forthcoming Assembly polls,'' Mr Raj said.

Today's programme was going on peacefully but when IJP workers tried to enter the Prerna Kendra to garland the statue of late Kansiram and Dr Ambedkar, they were lathicharged by the police, in which over eight of them were wounded, he added.
