4 killed after truck falls on hut

Narsinghpur, MP, Feb 5 (UNI) Four members of a family were killed on the spot after a truck loaded with foodgrains fell on a hutment at Gadarwara, 50 km from here, early this morning.

Police said Kallu (28), his wife, three-year-old daughter and one and a half year-old son, were killed when the truck while ascending an incline suddenly moved on the reverse and fell on the hut.

The police have arrested thedriver Komal Singh.

The district authorities announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5,000 each to the next of kin of the dead.
