23 buffaloes electrocuted

Ludhiana, Feb 5 (UNI) As many as 23 buffaloes were electrocuted when 11 KV high tension wire passing over the open cowshed at Bhammian Road near Central Jail here this evening snapped and fell on them.

According to information, all the 23 buffaloes died on the spot.

No further loss of property or human life was reported so far.

The buffaloes belonged to Sham Singh, Makhan Singh and Asgar Ali.
