196 more Haj pilgrims arrive in Kashmir from Jeddah
Srinagar, Feb 5 (UNI) Another batch of 196 Haj pilgrims, including 85 women, from Jammu and Kashmir arrived here from Jeddah in a special flight today.
They were received by senior officers of civil administration, Airport Authority, State Hajj Committee besides friends and relatives at the airport.
A total of more than 10,000 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir peformed the pilgrimage this year.
Twelve pilgrims from the state, including Ghulam Qadir Bhat,elder brother of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, died in the holy cities of Mecca and Madina during the pilgrimage.
