Vice-President Shekhawat arrives

Hyderabad, Feb 4 (UNI) Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat arrived here this evening from Delhi by a special IAF aircraft for a three-day visit to Andhra Pradesh.

The Vice-President was received at the airport by Andhra Pradesh Lift Irrigation Minister M Marappa, Rajya Sabha Member V Hanumantha Rao, MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, State BJP President Bandaru Dattatreya and other top police officials.

The Vice President will inaugurate the first national convention of the Indian Media Centre at Pragati Green Meadows and Resorts.

He would leave for Tirupati tomorrow to offer prayers at the Lord Balaji temple.

Mr Shekhawat would also visit Padmavati temple before leaving for New Delhi, the next day.
