Undertrial held

Banda, Feb 4 (UNI) Police today arrested an undertrial who had escaped with two others from the Banda district jail late last night.

Three undertrials -- Vinod, Ram Babu and Bhura Singh -- had escaped by scaling the jail walls.

Police said on the basis of an information, cops reached the Banda-Mahoba highway near Bhuragarh village and held Ram Babu.

Meanwhile, three jail guards have been suspended for negligence while at duty.

A hunt for the other accused was on.
