Tamil MPs from Sri Lanka call on Vaiko
Chennai, Feb 4 (UNI) A three-member delegation of Tamil MPs from Sri Lanka today discussed the decades-old ethnic crisis in the island nation with Marumalarchi DMK (MDMK) General Secretary Vaiko.
The MPs -- Sivajilingam, Ariyanithiran and Padmanathan -- called on Mr Vaiko at his party headquarters 'Thayagam' and discussed the situation prevailing in Sri Lanka for nearly 90 minutes, an MDMK release here said.
MDMK Treasurer M Kannappan, MLA, was also present during the meeting, the release added.
