Bodhgaya, Feb 4 (UNI) Nobel Laureate Dalai Lama today assured to lend moral support to Union Rural Development Minister and senior RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh in his mission for shifting Lord Buddhas urn to Vaishali.

After his meeting with the Dalai Lama in Bodhgaya, Mr Singh told UNI that he has accepted the invitation to visit Vaishali and Kesariya. He said the religious leader would visit both places on April 4.

During his meeting with the Dalai Lama, Mr Singh tried to justify his agitation for shifting the urn to Vaishali and said it was excavated there and so it justified its being shifted there.

Mr Singh told the Dalai Lama about the decision and subsequent notification of the previous state government for shifting the same to Vaishali and added that the present Nitish Kumar government was reluctant to send the proposal as sought by the Centre for construction of a museum in Vaishali to keep the urn.
