One shot dead by militants in Srinagar

Srinagar, Feb 4 (UNI) Militants shot to death a surrendered ultra in the downtown city this afternoon, official sources said.

They said militants shot at and critically wounded one Zahoor Ahmad alias Jana moulvi at Khanyar in the city this afternoon.

He was immediately rushed to the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) at Soura where he was declared brought dead.

Zahoor, a surrendered militants, was allegedly working with the security forces in the downtown area.
