Normalcy returning in MP town
Rajgarh, (MP) Feb 4 (UNI) With the situation fast returning to normalcy, curfew has been relaxed for 12 hours today in Bioara town in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh district.
District Collector G P Tiwari said the curfew had been relaxed from 0700 hrs to 1900 hrs, as no untoward incident was reported during the last 24 hours.
The curfew was clamped in Bioara town on January 31 following arson and violence in the wake of mounting communal tension after removal of a poster relating to a religious congregation.
''Further relaxation in the curfew could be provided tomorrow depending upon the situation,'' he said.
A total of 60 people had been detained in connection with the violent incidents and 43 of them were remanded to jail.
