Maoist extrimist arrested in Sitamarhi

Sitamrhi, Feb 4 (UNI) Police have arrested a Maoist extremist of proscribed CPI (Maoist) Dharmendra Jha from Parsauni police station area here last night.

District Police Superintendent M R Naik today said the Maoist extremist was arrested during a raid conducted by Central Police Reserve Force (CRPF) and Seema Shasatra Bal (SSB).

Two bombs and several live cartridges were recovered during the search operation, he added.

Interrogation was on to seek more information regarding the activites of the Maoists, Mr Naik said.
