Mandram to construct temple for Goddess Vaarahi
Chennai, Feb 4 (UNI) The City-based Vaarahi Vazhipattu Mandram is going to construct an exclusive temple for Goddess Sri Vaarahi at an estimated cost of about Rs 10 lakh, according to Ganapathy Subramanian, Founder and Chairman of the Mandram.
Speaking at a function where a CD on Goddess Sri Vaarahi titled as 'Valam Tharum Vaarahi' was released here today, Mr Subramanian said this would be the first exclusie temple in Tamil Nadu for Goddess Sri Vaarahi.
Mr Mohan, Treasurer of the Mandram in his address, said a devotee had donated his land at suburban Mudichur, where the proposed temple would be established.
Popular Carnatic musician Mrs Sudha Raghunathan released the CD and hailed the efforts of the mandram.
