Eight model villages coming up in central Kashmir
Srinagar, Feb 4 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government is spending Rs 9.6 crore to construct eight model villages in the central Kashmir district of Badgam, an official spokesman said today.
He said work is in full swing in these village which besides, the basic facilities like roads, drainage the model village, will be provided with state-of the art, community information centres and other basic facilities.
He said by December end about 818 development works have been completed in the district involving the expenditure of Rs 2.72 crore.
One lakh twenty four thousand men-days have been generated during the said fiscal in the district.
