422 more Haj pilgrims arrive in Kashmir from Jeddah
Srinagar, Feb 4 (UNI) Another batch of 422 Haj pilgrims, including 186 women, from Jammu and Kashmir, arrived here from Jeddah in two special flights today.
They were received at the airport by senior officers of civil administration, Airport Authority, State Haj Committee besides friends and relatives.
A total of more than 10,000 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir peformed the pilgrimage this year.
Twelve pilgrims from the state, including Ghulam Qadir Bhat,elder brother of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, died in the holy cities of Mecca and Madina durig the pilgrimage.
