3 of family murdered

Mainpuri, Feb 4 (UNI) Three members of a family were brutally murdered by unidentified miscreants in this district of Uttar Pradesh.

Ram Singh -- a rickshaw rider, his mother Surajmukhi (75) and son Sukh Dev (7) were crushed to death under 'Shahar' Kotwali police station area late last night, police today said.

Police recovered the bodies today.

The reason behind the crime, however, remained a puzzle.

A hunt was on to nab the accused.
