3 homeguards held while extorting money

Kanpur, Feb 4 (UNI) Three homeguards were arrested after they were caught extorting money in Naubasta area here today.

On the basis of a tip-off, the three homeguards were caught red handed, when the trio were extorting money from truck drivers Yashodanagar crossing.

On being frisked, Rs 5,000 was recovered from their possession, police said.

A case was registered.
