24 spikers selected for National Camp

Bangalore, Feb 4 (UNI) Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) has selected 24 spikers for Indian Youth Boy's Volleyball Coaching Camp to be held in Sports Authority of India (SAI) Southern Centre here from February Five to March 22.

According to a release here by VFI, Mandeep Singh, Balwinder Singh, M Ukkirapandian, A V Manikandan, Balasubramaniam who are participating in the National Games being held in Assam from February Nine would be participating in the Camp after the National Games.

Meanwhile, the VFI has allowed Pruthvi Raj (Karnataka), Lalit Kumar and Gurinder Singh (both Chandigarh), who are in the injured list, to join the Camp after they become physically fit.

List of probables selected for the Camp includes Mandeep Singh, G Kumar, Ankit Chaudhry, N Jagadeesh, T Naresh, Harish (all Attackers), Laxman Kumar, Navajit Singh, G Maheindra Varma, Hamender Singh, Fahad Mathathkunyil, Sukhdeep Singh, Somanath Girigowda (Blockers), Shishan Kumar, pradeep Kumar, Balwinder Singh, M Ukkirapandian, A V Manikandan (Setters), Chandrasekhar Raju, Balendera Singh, M Kapil (Universal), M Ganapathy, Surender Singh, Balasubramanim (Liberos).
