West Bengal: 4 people injured in car accident

Barrackpore, Feb 3: Altogether four people, including threeairhostesses, sustained serious injuries when their car was rammed by aspeedy private bus on VIP Road near Baguiati under Rajarhat policestation area in North 24 Parganas this morning.

Police has seized the bus. The accident occurred when the bus anda state transport bus were involved in virtual racing on the VIP Roadand rammed a car injuring a driver and airhostesses trio.

The accident irked the local people stormed on the buses and a fewother speedy vehicles resulting a traffic snarl for an hour on the busyVIP road.

While police controlled the situation, an Airport Authority ambulance picked up the injured Air Deccan air hostesses.

The injured driver has been admitted to a local nursing home, police said.
