SP leader's son murdered

Jaunpur, Feb 3 (UNI) Unidentified armed assailants brutally murdered the Samajwadi Party (SP) leader's son in this district of Uttar Pradesh.

Jalauddin (28) -- son of SP Minority Morcha district president Himamuddin -- was hacked to death, when he had gone to Kanhapur Tarharia Dalit locality late last night.

Jalauddin's body was recovered from the locality today, police added.

The reason behind the crime, however, remained a puzzle.

A manhunt has been launched to arrest the culprits.
