Private aircraft crashlands

Hyderabad, Feb 3 (UNI) A trainee pilot was injured when a private aircraft crashlanded following a bird hit on the city outskirts this evening.

According to police, the trainee, Ms Jasmine Mercy, suffered a head injury while the trainer Mandeep Sharma escaped unhurt. Both were rushed to the corporate hospital in the city for treatment.

However, they were out of danger, police said.

The aircraft left from the Rajiv Gandhi aviation academy for training at the time of mishap.
