Power block to affect long distance rail services on CR

Mumbai, Feb 3 (UNI) The Central Railway will operate a Traffic and Power block at wee hours of Sunday between Diva&Thakurli stations to dismantle overhead bridges in connection with Diva-Kalyan fifth and sixth line work.

The Traffic and Power block will come into affect from the wee hours of 0210 to 0550hrs of Sunday between the Diva and Thakurli stations, said a railway release issued here today.

Due to the impending block, Chennal-Mumbai Mail, Bhubneshwar -Mumbai Konark Express, Muzzafarpur-Lokmaniya Tilak Terminus (LTT) Express, Amritsar-Dadar Express, Pandharpur-Mumbai Fast Passenger, Gorakpur-LTT Khusinagar Express, Kanayakumari-Mumbai Express, Hyderabad-Mumbai Hussain Sagar Express, Howrah-Mumbai Mail and Howrah-LTT Express are the long distance trains, which will be regulated during the block hours.

In addiiton, Nanded - Mumbai Nandigram Express, Howrah-LTT Jnaneshwari Express, Kolhapur-Mumbai Mahalaxmi Express, Chennai -Dadar Express, Kanpur-LTT Udyog Nagari Express, Solapur-Mumbai Siddeshwar express, Secunderabad-Mumbai Devgiri Express, Ferozpur -Mumbai Punjab Mail, Yashwantpur-Dadar Chalukya Express, Latur-Mumbai Express and Nagpur-Mumbai Vidharbha Express are the other long distance trains to be rescheduled or regulated.

Suburban rail services on the UP direction being cancelled during the Block are Karjat-Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus(CST)leaving Karjat, Thane-CST leaving Thane, Ambarnath-CST leaving Ambarnath, Titwala-CST leaving Titwala, Kalyan-CST leaving Kalyan and Kasara-CSDT leaving Kasara station.

Suburban rail services on the DOWN direction being cancelled during the Block are CST-Karjat, CST-Ambarnath, CST-Thane, CST-Kalyan all leaving CST stations.

In addition, Kurla-Ambarnath/Titwala/Kalyan locals leaving Kurla and Dadar-Kalyan/Thane locals leaving Dadar during the Block hours will also be cancelled.

Besides, Kasara/Khopoli locals leaving CST will be cancelled between CST and Kalyan. Thane-Karjat local leaving Thane will also be cancelled between Thane and Kalyan.

However, three special trains will be run between Karjat/Kasara and Kalyan and one special train between Titwala and CST will be run for the benefit of passengers, added the release.
