Patil inspects Sir Creek
Bhuj, Feb 3 (UNI) Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil arrived here today on a two-day visit.
Mr Patil's arrival was, however, delayed by an hour because of a dense mist.
Upon his arrival here, Mr Patil was received at the airport by former Congress MP Himmatsinhji Jadeja who briefed him about Sir Creek. Mr Patil, thereafter, went to Koteswar from where he took a BSF boat to Sir Creek.
The Union Home Minister later reached Gandhidham where he will be staying overnight. Mr Patil is scheduled to address BSF jawans tomorrow at a sainik sammelan. He will also address a press conference.
Thereafter, Mr Patil is scheduled to visit Dholavira in Kutch from where he would leave for the BSF outpost at Munabao in Rajasthan later in the day.
