Pan Pacific Copper Japan tech team visits Sterlite Ltd

Tuticorin, Feb 3 (UNI) A high profile five-member technical team from Pan Pacific Copper, Japan visited Sterlite Industries (I) Ltd yesterday.

Pan Pacific Copper, a 90-year-old company with global Copper production of 7,10,000 mt, shared their knowledge and expertise with the technical team at Sterlite copper.

Sterlite Industries (I) Ltd CEO Mr Kishore Kumar welcomed the foreign delegates and shared with them the future prospects of copper industry. Indian copper producers had grown significantly in the last couple of years and this had put Sterlite copper in the radar of metal and mining companies, he added.

Japanese team appreciated the recent expansion of Sterlite Copper and its operational efficiencies, besides its achievement in safety, quality, environment, human resources and CSR initiatives.
