Minister ghreaoed, SP's removal demanded

Satna, MP, Feb 3 (UNI) In the wake of abduction of a school boy for ransom six days back from here, angry people gheraoed Madhya Pradesh Minister of State for Home Nagendra Singh and demanded that the Superintendent of Police be immediately removed.

Political workers, cutting across party lines, registered their protest to police being clueless regarding the abduction of Shivam Mishra besides rising incidents of crime.

People held SP Dev Prakash Gupta responsible for increase in the incidents of crime.

Mr Singh calmed down agitators and said efforts were being made for Shivam's release.
