Puri, Feb 3 (UNI) Lord Jagannath, his elder brother Balabhadra and their sister Subhadra, the presiding deities of 12th century Jagannath Temple, will be now marketed worldwide in gold and silver medallions.

A Hongkong based MNC 'Questnet' would now project the images of the famous temple, currently under Archaeological Survey of India's protection, and the deities in gold and silver medallions worldwide through its network.

The medallions were launched by Puri Gajapati king Divyasingh Deb, also the chairperson of the temple body, at a function yesterday amidst chanting of Jai Jagannath.

The Gajapati said Questnet would help people in far corners of the globe to know about the Lord.

Questnet had already entered into an agreement with the temple trust for endorsing the medallion, sources said.

The Jagannath gold medallion had been minted in Germany with six gram of pure gold while the silver medallion with temple image on one side would weigh one ounce each. The medallions carry the company's logo in the reverse side.

About 10,000 medallions had been prepared displaying fine craftsmanship, company's Managing Director Pushpam said adding that the medallion was a special way of paying homage to Lord of the universe.

The company within its five years of inception had prepared and successfully marketed several medallions of Hindu deities like Lord Ganesha, Lord Balaji and Sirdi Sai Baba.
