Illegal arms unit unearthed, 3 held

Agra, Feb 3 (UNI) An illegal arms manufacturing factory was busted with the arrest of three miscreants, including their kingpin, in this district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police today said acting on a tip-off, a raid was conducted in a forest under Kheragarh police station area, where three miscreants, identified as Pintu, Yogendra and Gangaram were held.

A large number of pistols and cartridges were recovered from the spot.

On interrogation, the accused confessed that they used to supply arms to criminals all over UP.

A hunt for their aides was on.
