Haryana: DHBVN extends power bill waiver scheme

Chandigarh, Feb 3 (UNI) The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has decided to give one more chance to defaulter consumers for joining the electricity bill arrear waiver scheme.

A Nigam spokesman said the defaulter consumers, who had not availed the electricity bill arrear waiver scheme so far, could join the scheme up to February 28 by making payment of their current bills issued from June, 2005.

No surcharge would be levied on the bills but they would have to pay Rs 200 as a late entry fee.

The waiver scheme was meant for domestic and agricultural consumers in villages.

UNI
