Govt to set up ten more IT centres: CM

Kakinada, Feb 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said the government would set up ten more Information Technology (IT) centres within a year in the state.

Inaugurating a new facility of Software Technology Park of India (STPI) here, Dr Reddy said by establishing more IT centres in the state, the employment opportunities for the young engineers would go up in the state.

Infotech Enterprises Limited Chairman and Managing Director B V R Mohan Reddy said Kakinada was an ideal tier-II location with potential engineering talents.

He said the company would set up a full-fledged facility and increase headcount.

Union Minister of State for Defence M M Pallamraju said Dr Reddy had a clear vision for the development of Kakinada.
