Goat with a human face born in West Bengal

Barrackpore, Feb 2: A goat with a difference having a human faceand two ears--was born in Barbaria Purbapara village, North 24Parganas.

People of the village said a goat gave birth to a kid having resemblance with human beings with face and ears.

The kid was born dead on January 29 but the goat is alive.

A large number of people thronged to Barbaria to have a look at the carcass.

The owner of the goat, Lokajan Bibi, said that she was rearing ablack goat for last four years and it remained pregnant for last sixmonths and delivered a prematured dead kid of about 18 inches long.

The kid had abnormal shape with its head having resemblance with ahuman being and a pair of ears, which also looked like human limbs.

When asked, a veterinary surgeon in Barasat said the reason behind such malformation needs a medical test.
