Cong condemns Naidu's allegations on irrigation projects
Tirupati, Feb 3 (UNI) Condemning the allegations of Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu against the ongoing drinking and irrigation projects in Andhra Pradesh, Congress MLA G Muddu Krishnama Naidu today said the government would provide a helicopter to Mr Naidu, if he wants to conduct an aerial survey of the ongoing projects.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Krishnama Naidu claimed that his party had taken up the pending drinking water and irrigation project works in drought affected Rayalaseema and Telangana to the tune of Rs 23,000 crore.
On Pallar issue, he said it was unfortunate that the TDP leaders of Kuppam in Chittoor district instead of protesting against the PMK's agitation on the Palar project, opposed the projects that were meant to provide drinking water to the people in Chittoor district.
