Car bomb in central Baghdad market kills 8

BAGHDAD, Feb 3 (Reuters) A car bomb killed at least eight people and wounded 34 others when it exploded in a busy market in central Baghdad today, a police source said.

The blast sent plumes of black smoke into the air and emergency vehicles rushed the wounded to local hospitals.
