Bhajan Lal denies plan to form new party

Hisar, Feb 3 (UNI) Former Haryana Congress president Bhajan Lal today denied that he planned to quit the Congress and launch another party.

''Neither will I launch a new party nor join another party.

Congress is my party and I will carry on my struggle within it,'' the disgruntled leader said while talking to reporters here.

Asked about his future course of action, he said he would disclose his future strategy at a rally in Rohtak after two months.

Mr Bhajan Lal said his strategy would be given final shape after the outcome of Punjab assembly elections.

To a question, Mr Lal said he would attend the Congress rally being organised in Sirsa on February 25 to mark the completion of two years of the Bhupinder Singh Hooda government. ''Neither am I invited there, nor will I go.'' UNI XC-MA RL DS1542
