A goaty affair

Barrackpore, Feb 2(UNI) A goat with a difference having a human face and two ears--was born in Barbaria Purbapara village, North 24 Parganas.

People of the village said a goat gave birth to a kid having resemblance with human beings with face and ears.

The kid was born dead on January 29 but the goat is alive.

A large number of people thronged to Barbaria to have a look at the carcass.

The owner of the goat, Lokajan Bibi, said that she was rearing a black goat for last four years and it remained pregnant for last six months and delivered a prematured dead kid of about 18 inches long.

The kid had abnormal shape with its head having resemblance with a human being and a pair of ears, which also looked like human limbs.

When asked, a veterinary surgeon in Barasat said the reason behind such malformation needs a medical test.
