UN climate panel says humans cause global warming

PARIS, Feb 2 (Reuters) The UN climate panel today issued its toughest warning yet that human activities are to blame for global warming and said that temperatures are set to rise sharply this century.

''Most of the observed increase in globally averaged temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic (human) greenhouse gas concentrations,'' said a final text seen by Reuters.
