Rs 90,000 looted from petrol pump

Surat, Feb 2 (UNI) A four-member gang looted Rs 90,000 in cash from a petrol pump at Kosamba near here today after attacking the cashier and other staff.

Police said four persons, who were speaking in Gujarati, arrived at the petrol pump on a single motorcycle which bore no number plate. Pretending that they had come for petrol, the four, however, attacked the cashier, Navin, and two other employees -- Pilu and Balwant. Thereafter, the four snatched away Rs 90,000 in cash and escaped.
