(rpt adding matter in para one)

New Delhi, Feb 2 (UNI) The Supreme Court today refused to extend the deadline of January 31 for filing of affidavit by traders using residential premises for commercial purposes in the national capital.

A bench comprising Justices Arijit Pasayat and S H Kapadia also directed the Centre to place on record the Master Plan 2021, which is going to be notified soon, before the court along with the entire material on which it is based.

The court has fixed Feburary 20 as the next date of hearing and has directed all the parties to complete the pleadings before that date.

The court categorically declined the request made by Solicitor General G E Vahanvati for giving more time to about 1.25 lakh traders who filed their affidavits of undertaking.
