PPCC gets new vice president, 3 gen secys

Chandigarh, Feb 2 (UNI) Congress president Sonia Gandhi has approved the proposal for appointing a new vice president and three general secretaries of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) ahead of the assembly polls in the state.

Ms Sushil Mahajan, former minister, has been made vice president of the PPCC while ex-MLA Vijay Kumar Saathi, Mr Malkiat Singh and Ashok Kumar have been appointed general secretaries, party sources said here today.
