Peace process progressing well: Musharraf

Islamabad, Feb 2 (UNI) Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf today said the peace process between India and Pakistan were progressing "very well" and expressed optimism that it would lead to the resolution of all outstanding issues between them.

"The process is going on very well and I am fairly optimistic of its success and resolution of issues between the two countries through dialogue," he told a press conference in the garrison town of Rawalpindi.

The Pakistani President was talking to reporters after returning from his visit to Malaysia and Indonesia as part of his West Asia Peace initiative.
