Mother admits killing her children

Harda, MP, Feb 2 (UNI) A mother has admitted to killing her three children -- including a girl -- for being an obstacle in her illicit relations, police said today.

During interrogation, Sunita (30) confessed that her children used to inform her husband Ram Khilawan (35) whenever somebody visited home.

Angered by this, Sunita hacked her children -- Payal (5), Chhotu (8) and Akash (10) -- to death at her home in this district's Dhoolia village, about 20 km from here, and then attempted to commit suicide by plunging into a well.

Sunita had alleged Khilawan -- a farm watchman -- had pushed her into the well after committing the triple homicide. However, interrogation revealed that her husband was not at home during the time of murder.
