Dense fog disrupt flight services
Kolkata, Feb 02 (UNI) Flight services at the Netaji Subash Chandra Bose International Airport was disrupted today following heavy fog.
The Airport officials here today said the first flight could depart only at 1005 hours.
A special Air India flight returning from Haj today was diverted through Nagpur from where it later came to Kolkata at 1400 hours.
A British Airways flight was also diverted to Dhaka after failing to land in Kolkata.
Met officials at the NSCBI airport said the visibility almost came down to zero. The arrival and departure of about 15 morning flights were delayed by four hours on an average because of poor visibility.
