Bomb scare in BoB Surat branch

Surat, Feb 2 (UNI) A call to the Bank of Baroda's Athwalines branch here about a bomb turned out to be hoax today.

A thorough search by bomb disposal squad and sniffer dogs, did not find anything suspicious, police sources said.

The bank recieved a call this morning informing them that a bomb had been planted there. ''It was a hoax,'' sources added.
