ACB arrests Deputy MRO in AP

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, Feb 2 (UNI) The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials today arrested a Deputy Mandal Revenue officer (DMRO) at Nallajerla in West Godavari district and unearthed Rs 80 lakh worth assets which claimed to be obtained illegally, according to ACB officials here today.

A special team led by M Venkateswara Rao, DSP, ACB and five inspectors from Hyderabad conducted raids at Nallajerla and Tadepalligudem, a four storyed builing was found in Tadepalligudem in this district and to unearth properties of Lakkalapalli Gandhibabu, Deputy Mandal Revenue Officers, Nallajerla. The ACB officials conducted raids simultenously at Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Rajahmundry besides his relatives in this district, the ACB officials added.
