Vaishnodevi pilgrim killed, six injured

Jammu, Feb 1 (UNI) One Vaishno Devi pilgrim was killed and six others were injured, three of them critically, when the car in which they were travelling collided head-on with a bus at Palli Morh on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near Kathua last evening, police today said.

Police said the pilgrims, hailing from New Delhi and Faridabad (Haryana), were on their way to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine when the accident occurred.

The deceased has been identified as Rohit of New Delhi. The injured were shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital(GMCH) hospital.
